The electric fence in Tesla’s factory in Fremont, California, is not showing signs of being installed to protect the company’s factory from the threat of a major fire.
Tesla’s Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Tuesday that the factory is not operating normally, and that there has been no fire in the plant.
The company’s production facility, which is located near the Fremont International Airport, is owned by Tesla, and has been shut down since December.
It was not immediately clear how the fence system was installed, but Musk said he believes it was part of a plan to protect Tesla’s manufacturing facility.
Musk also said he expected the fence to be operational again by the end of the year.
